I think this is a great idea especially for women 30 and up because we usually get photos taken of our children and maybe even photos of us with our families but we rarely have photos taken of ourselves.
Over the years I’ve looked in all of our family albums and all the photos hanging on my walls and they are mostly of my children and husband what if something happend to me? Would there be photos of me around for my children to remember me by? Right now I would have to say no, not many at all, either because I was behind the camera or because I didn’t feel confident in how I would look in a photo. I do trust that you are an awesome photographer and would help me to be my best in a photo shoot with you. Please pick me lol.

Hi Holly. I saw on Facebook a couple of days ago about your contest, and at first I was not sure if I wanted to enter. I was not sure I wanted the attention I would get if I won… For the last 7 years my life has been about anything but me. I turned 28 in April and my sole focus has been my family.
In February 2004, at 20 years old I got married and uprooted my life here in Texas, to follow my heart. It just so happend that my heart was going to Connecticut (where my new husband, Nick, was stationed on a submarine in the Navy)In 2006 we had our firstborn, a son. Zachary was the center of my world seeing as Nick was often out to sea. in 2008 we got orders to Nacogdoches TX where Nick was to be a Navy recruiter. We decided long before these orders that we would have our next child as soon as he had a more stable job. What we didn’t bank on is our wonderful daughter being born with Down syndrome. On Septebmber 14, 2009 my whole would was shaken to the core. I didn’t know if there would be a day when I didn’t cry. However here I am 20 months later and I wouldn’t trade her or her Down syndrome for anything in the whole universe.
All this being said. I feel like it is time for me. About a month ago I made a decision to take care of myself in order to be able to take better care of my family. I started an exercise routine and I am already down 13 lbs and I feel GREAT. This is my year, and whether or not I win this contest, I know how important I am and that I deserve the world. Our family is so very blessed and I would not have it any other way! Also thank you if you have read this all the way to the end. I don’t get out much and it feel good to let it all out so to speak

What an awesome idea! I remember looking at my Mom’s professional photos and they were only from her Senior year of high school. To this day, she still hasn’t had new photos taken. I would love to show my grandkids one day what I looked like in my younger years!

I am 28 and haven’t had pictures done of myself since my senior year which was 10 years ago. I think this is a wonderful idea!

So my mom just had pictures taken. I’m 31 now and the only one I have besides that is the two of us together when I was 2 or so! I don’t have any of “just me”, plenty of me and my 4 year old, Chance. So I would love to have some with “just me” so he’s not saying the same about his mom in 20 or so years!

This is a fabulous idea!! I am 32 and have recently lost 120 lbs. and feel wonderful. I would love for my son and daughter to be able to look back and know that I not only did this for me but also for them!! I love the new healthier me!!
